MTV has always been a the network for musicians.
That is where I first heard the band Deluka, on the MTV network and was immediately reeled in.
If your into the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s or Metric, Deluka is definitely a band to check out.
Originally from the south, Deluka is an indie band that first made it to the music scene in 2008 when they released their first album Broken Sleeping Patterns.
Ellie Innocenti, vocalist, has a voice that is unique and strong in nature and brings emotion to both a slower song and upbeat party song.
Deluka released their second studio album in 2010 titled You are the Night with hits like OMFG. The songs that Deluka produces can easily be mainstream club and radio hits. But there is more substance than that. Lyrically and sound wise, Deluka is original and sticks out.
So grab their CD, and whether your going on a long drive or getting ready for a night out, Deluka is a band to listen to in the coming years.
